Day 1: Arrival and transfer
to Kampala hotel for dinner and overnight
Day2: Drive to Murchison falls National Park with a stop
over to Ziwa Rhino sanctuary for a walking tour to see the Rhino rehabilitation
programme. After Lunch proceed to Murchison falls N. Park arriving late
afternoon. Dinner and over night Red Chilli camp.( tented accommodation)
Day3: Morning game drive to see Lions , Giraffes , Elephants
and various bird species, return for Lunch before proceeding for the 1700hrs
boat ride on the river Nile to the bottom of the falls. The boat cruise brings
you spectacular sights of the big African crocodiles, Fish eagles and various
water birds. Dinner and overnight Red chilli rest camp.( Tented camping)
Day 4: Drive southwards to the beautiful terraced hills of
western Uganda to Kibaale forest National park arriving late afternoon for
dinner and overnight at Primate lodge.
Day5: After briefing from park rangers
proceed into the park to track the chimpanzees and other monkeys like the black
and white colobus , also beautiful forest birds can be sighted while in the
forest. Return to lodge for lunch and in the afternoon drive to the
neighbouring town of Fortportal to visit the town and culture of the people
before returning to your Primate lodge for dinner and overnight.
Day 6 : Drive to Queen Elizabeth National park just over 2
hours away arriving at the Institute hostel on time for lunch . Afternoon we
take a drive to the scenic crater region of the park and salt lake with chance
of visiting the local community who thrive on the salt mining and fishing. Camp
site on the Mweya peninsular
Day 7 : Morning game drive before returning to
lodge for lunch and chance to use the swimming pool over looking the
lake in the near by Mweya safari lodge . At 1600hr we take a boat trip along
the kazinga channel to see school of hippos and various bird species including
the African fish eagle. Return to camp for overnight. (Changed to
camping)
Day 8 : Choice of another morning
game drive or bird viewing walk in the park as the area is known to
in habit over 550 bird species. Afternoon we drive to the bat cave and a forest
walk before returning to our campsite for the rest of the evening at leisure.
Day 9 : We drive to Bwindi Gorilla National park with a stop
over at Ishasha sector of Queen Elizabeth for an hours game drive to
see the tree climbing Lions. Proceed to Bwindi N. Park arriving in the evening
for dinner and overnight at Buhoma community hostel.
Day 10 : After briefing at the park quarters accompanied by
rangers you enter the forest for a memorable life time experience to track the
rare world renown Mountain Gorillas . Return to lodge after about 5 hours for
lunch and leisure for the rest of the day. Dinner and overnight Buhoma
community bandas.
Day11 : Proceed to Lake bunyoonyi in Kabaale , a lake with
numerous islands offering beautiful spectacular views, a perfect place to relax
and reflect on the safari so far. In the afternoon you can have a boat trip to
visit some of the islands and see the cultures of these remote fishing
villages. Accomodation type – camping.
Day12 : Proceed to Lake Mburo national park
after late break fast via Mbarara arriving in the afternoon. After lunch take a
game drive to see the park famous with Zebras and numerous antelopes roaming
the plains, with no Lions and other big cats in this park you have the optional
choice of a walking safari. Dinner and overnight Rwonyo tented camp
Day 13 : We finish our circuit across Uganda’s most amazing
places by proceeding back to Kampala with a stop over for a photo shoot at the
equator crossing and drum making centres. Arrive at Kampala hotel in middle of
the town for dinner and overnight. This hotel will give you the chance to
explore the night life of Kampala with its close proximity to main
entertainment areas.
Day 14: Airport transfer for your onward connections with
beautiful life time memories.
